Movent — the companion for entrepreneurs

Last updated: 16 August 2026 · Applies to Movent 0.7.0 and later

The short version. Movent keeps your idea and your journey on your own phone. There is no account, no cloud copy, no advertising and no analytics. We cannot see your data, and we could not sell it if we wanted to.

Three things can leave your phone, each only when you choose it: a narrow summary of your venture, if you connect an agent server so the AI can write your moves; your voice, when you tap the microphone; and a task you send to your own calendar. Everything else — your receipts, your spending, your tasks, your answers — stays where you typed it.

Who we are

Movent is published by Mandlik Brotherhood Pvt. Ltd., Kesarba Farmhouse, FH RL Mandali (Vihar), Taluka Mansa, District Gandhinagar 382810, Gujarat, India.

For anything in this policy, including a request to exercise your rights, write to privacy@mandlikbrotherhood.com.

Movent was formerly called O-NEXT. The name changed in version 0.5.0; the app, the publisher and this policy are the same.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter lives in Movent's own storage on your device: your idea and profile, your current move, your answers to every move you have completed, your Blue Ocean grid, your own tasks and their reminders, your spending records and receipt images, your day routine settings, and your conversation with the agent.

Every save is also mirrored to a backup file inside the app's private storage area on the same device. That is a safeguard against the app's browser storage being cleared — it is not a cloud backup, and it never leaves the phone.

Because there is no account and no server-side copy, we cannot see your data and we cannot recover it for you if you lose the phone or uninstall the app. Use Settings → Export my data if you want a copy you control.

What leaves your phone

1. The agent server — only if you connect one

Movent does not ship with a server, and out of the box it never contacts one. Its built-in guidance runs entirely on your phone.

If you enter an agent server address in Settings → Agent server, Movent will send that server a summary of your venture so an AI model can write your next move, answer your questions, and respond when you push back. That server is operated by whoever you point it at — if you deployed it yourself, that is you.

Exactly what is sent. This is a fixed list, enforced on the server itself and not merely by the app, so it holds even for an old copy of the app:

  • Your venture profile as you entered it: your name, idea, one-liner, sector, product, customer and their location, your city and district, stage, starting investment, assets, skills, team and hours per week.

  • What you wrote as the outcome of moves you have already completed — up to twelve of them, and only the move title and what you recorded learning.

  • Constraints you have told the agent about your life, such as "no travel on Thursdays".

  • Your Blue Ocean grid, and your last check-in — hours available, energy, how clear the work feels.

  • Two numbers: your total recorded spending, and how many of your own tasks are open.

  • The question or objection you typed, when you ask one.

What is never sent. Receipt images. Individual cost entries or what they were for. Your own tasks and their text. Your reminder times or day routine. Your journal. Your full answer history. Nothing in this list can reach a model, because the server drops every field that is not on the list above.

Retention at the model provider. The reference server sends every request with retention switched off, so the provider does not keep a stored copy of it. The provider receives a one-way hash of your idea, city and customer as an abuse-prevention identifier — it cannot be reversed into any of them. If you run a modified server, this paragraph describes your deployment only if you have kept that setting.

We have no way to verify what a server you connect does with what it receives. If you did not deploy it yourself, ask whoever did.

2. Your voice — only when you tap the microphone

When you tap the microphone, Movent asks Android to turn your speech into text using the speech recognition service already installed on your phone. Depending on the device, that service may process the audio locally or send it to its provider, usually Google, under their policy rather than ours. Movent does not record, store or transmit audio itself — it receives only the text. If you never tap the microphone, the app never opens it.

3. A task you send to your calendar

Movent can hand a dated task to your phone's calendar app. When you use it, the task title and its date are passed to the calendar app you choose, which then handles them under its own policy — including any sync to a Google or Microsoft account you have signed into there. Movent does not read your calendar and does not have permission to.

4. A report you file about AI content

See the next section. A report contains the AI's text and your reason, and nothing about your venture.

AI-generated content, and how to report it

When an agent server is connected, the moves Movent gives you and the answers it writes are generated by an AI model. They can be wrong, and sometimes confidently so.

Movent gives general guidance on building a business. It is not legal, tax, accounting or investment advice. Anything to do with registration, licences, permits, contracts or taxes should be confirmed with a qualified professional before you act on it.

Wherever AI-written text appears there is a ⚑ Report button next to it — on the move card, and under any answer the agent gives you. Reporting sends the text you are looking at, the category you pick, your own comment, and the app version. It does not send your idea, your customer, your city, your spending or any other part of your venture. If you are offline the report is saved on your phone and sent later, and the app tells you which of the two happened. Reports are read by a person.

Movent asks for no location permission, no contacts, no call log, no SMS and no storage permission. When you attach a receipt you pick the file yourself through Android's own picker, which hands Movent that one file and nothing else.

What we do not do

  • No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.

  • No analytics, crash reporting or tracking SDKs of any kind.

  • No accounts, no sign-in, no profile held by us.

  • No selling or sharing of personal data with anyone.

  • No location collection.

  • No reading of your contacts, photos, files, calendar or call data.

Children

Movent is built for adults starting businesses. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Deleting your data

Settings → Erase everything wipes the idea, the journey, your tasks, your spending and every stored receipt from the device, including the backup file. Uninstalling the app removes all of it as well.

Because we hold no copy on any server, there is nothing for us to delete and no request you need to send. If you have filed a content report and want it removed, write to us with the reference number the app gave you.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and comparable laws elsewhere, you have rights of access, correction, erasure and grievance redressal over personal data a company holds about you. In Movent's case those rights are largely satisfied by the app itself: your data is on your device, you can export it and you can erase it, and we hold no copy to disclose or correct.

For anything the app cannot do for you, or to raise a grievance, write to privacy@mandlikbrotherhood.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Security

Your data sits in the app's private storage area, which Android isolates from other apps. Requests to an agent server use HTTPS. Receipt images are compressed and stored as separate private files rather than inside the main record.

No system is perfect. A rooted or compromised device weakens all of these protections, and a device backup service you have enabled at the Android level may copy app data off the phone under that service's own terms.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and note the change in the app's release notes. Continuing to use Movent after a change means you accept the updated policy.
